Education and Biography
Luis was born and raised in Venezuela and immigrated to the U.S. when he was twenty-four years old. As an immigrant, Luis knows firsthand the challenges of living in a foreign country with a complex legal system, and without any legal status. Luis experienced the same barriers, hardships, and uncertainties his clients experience when they are desperately seeking a legal avenue to adjust their immigration status. He knows the importance of being legally represented because he was able to adjust his status with the help of an immigration attorney.
Luis’s personal experiences with immigration drove him to pursue a legal career and be an advocate for others who share similar experiences of coming to this country. He is determined to help those who are most vulnerable and in need so that they can adjust their legal status. As an immigration attorney, Luis’s primary goal is to provide his clients with the necessary representation to ensure a successful outcome.
Luis received his law degree from Western State College of Law in 2015 and his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he graduated with honors in 2011. Luis is admitted to the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the immigration court. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
